Taken the other day around the Finger Lakes, Priory Country Park. The path that leads down to this lake is signposted "The Sanctuary" and I can quite understand why as it is so very peaceful

Just beautiful. A fav. I think SOOC shots are the best, some photos on this sight are proccessed to death. Like you I seldom edit. I do crop sometimes but I don't see the point in changing what I photographed into something that I didn't see. Different strokes I guess.
@lellie I agree because if you have to manipulate a pic to make it good, to me that seems like cheating. For me I aim to try to get a good shot by adjusting controls within the camera before I take it and I admit most of my pics are taken on aperture priority although I do experiment with shutter priority sometimes not always successfully so they don't appear on here!
