Hedge Sparrow

I saw this little fellow sitting in a hedge as I was on my way to the cycle track to look at the floods. We don't see many sparrows of any kind around here so I thought I must post this one today. I know they are not very colourful but I think they are still sweet

I love Sparrows - a much underrated bird! If you look at them through bins you can see how pretty they are in their browns, greys and blacks :)
