I have been visiting this lady who is a very accomplished artist and in fact I am going to buy one of her watercolours as it is so lovely. It is one of poppies which is on display in her hall. This lady is also a poet and has written children's books but has not been published. She can sing and act and today we were discussing the fact that she probably could have done a lot more in her life but I think her husband was afraid that she might want to spread her wings if she had the chance to participate more publicly. I have never asked anyone if I could take a portrait before other than family pics so I was quite brave to ask her. However, I had seen her the day before and said how I thought she was very photogenic. She is 79 years old but looks so much younger. I think she has a really kind face to match her lovely personality. I hope you like this pic too
