This is a corn bunting

I thought I was taking pics of yellowhammers but when I got it home and had a look, I'm not so sure. This little fellow isn't the bright yellow of the yellowhammers but I wondered whether it is a corn bunting. If Hudd is looking, I'm sure he would know as he's posted pics of them before. I must have a look through his album and compare the colouring of the bird. Anyway, he was singing his little heart out but he didn't have such a good voice as the robin

Think you mightbe right with Corn Bunting, had a look through my trusted field guide (Collins Bird Guide) the bill looks the same as one of the plates of the bird sing and looks bigger that the Yellowhammers,
it would be good though to have another to confirm.

Actually yes, checking again I think he is a corn bunting. The orange legs helped.
