Very different pics for me today. I'm not feeling too brilliant as I seem to have acquired a heavy cold from somewhere and I decided that I must dig my vegetable plot and plant my potatoes. I should know better than to do that when I didn't feel too good in the first place as I have a dodgy heart valve and it is not a good idea to do strenuous activity when you are not quite up to par. I used to work at Papworth and so I do know that it can make existing heart conditions worse or even start problems in otherwise healthy people to engage in strenuous activity when you are not feeling well. Anyway, I shall take things easy for a couple of days and worry about the vegetable patch when I feel a bit better. When I was out in the garden I noticed a white feather fluttering about on the honeysuckle which is just beginning to bud out and thought it would make a different pic from the birds I usually take.
Nice capture...take care of yourself! I see feathers stuck all over when taking the dogs for a walk. Lets me know spring has to be close as all the birds must be changing into their 'courting' finery!
@vernabeth No we don't have chickens although we seem to have acquired a pair of mallard ducks. I think it must be from a wild bird! If Bas our cockatoo had been outside, I would have thought it was from him
