Collared doves are shy little birds but I think they are very sweet. They are not as friendly as the quackers who are still coming everyday and often more than once! I've just been talking to them and they came right up to me and quacked. I could have put my hand out and touched them. Mind you I am now giving them duck food and water each day so I expect they are quite contented with the arrangement. At this rate, I shall have to go and buy some more duck food and there is only one place round here that I know sells it.
