For those of you who have been following me for a while, you will know about the saga on Christmas Day when this poor chestnut mare was standing in a flooded field. Well fortunately, the field is no longer flooded but I do feel sorry for this horse as she seems to be lonely. She always looks up when she hears anyone go past and I always say hello to her despite the fact that there are 2 gates between me and her. She walked towards me today and I'm sure she would have loved it if I could give her a pat. She is lovely but I can't help thinking she needs a little friend.
I was just wondering the other day what ever happend to the chestnut mare, good to see her.She doesn't look in good shape though, she looks a bit neglected.
@khirsch I don't think they give her enough time and attention. People shouldn't have horses if they don't want to spend time with them. The owners just seem to go up to the field once a day, feed her and then leave
Aaw how sad & to some extent cruel to keep a beautiful pony all alone --like any other animal she really deserves some company to spend the day with !! A beautiful capture Rosie :-))
great shot beaufiful horse, when we stayed at the farm they had two horses who were taken out at least twice a day and so well looked after its a shame not all owners are alike
