This little fellow was sitting in the bush sunning himself yesterday and I don't know whether it was because it was so hot but he had his beak open. He just sat there and after I had taken a couple of shots, I walked nearer to see whether he was OK but fortunately, he flew off so I knew he was OK. Actually after looking at this one again, I realise that he has his wings held up a bit to cool him down. Bas lifts his wings when he gets too hot so that is obviously why he was just sitting there so still. I'm not sure but he may also be a young one as he's quite fluffy but again that might be due to him trying to puff up his feathers to get the cool air under him
