Billie's father gave me a lift to Nottingham so it was nice to catch up with him too as Mum and Dad are not together now. Claire my daughter booked her holiday to Majorca before realising the date of the graduation so unfortunately was not able to be there but it was good for me because I was able to go. I'm sure Claire must have been thinking about it even if she was sunning herself on the beach! It is nice that Marcus has been able to continue to be a big part of Billie's life though and enjoy her success. Fortunately, there is no animosity between parents which makes such a difference to youngsters.
Lovely. When my two daughters graduated it was good that their father attended even though him and I had both remarried. Animosity between the parents does not help the children in any way.
