I heard a green woodpecker and saw him fly across the field I was walking in. There was also a bit of a schamozzle going on by the river which I was going to investigate but the next thing I knew was a couple of girls were shouting in the field and this little fellow appeared! He decided to run towards me and was going to see who I was but the children then called him back. I gave up trying to get any more bird pics in the field. In fact I've only taken 42 pics today which is probably a good thing really
