This is the view from the top of the hill in Ampthill taken from the park. Please view large to see the detail of the houses hiding in the trees. While in the park, there was still frost on the ground where the sun hadn't managed to melt it. Just shows how cold it was and the wind blowing from the north was really cold. I had 2 pair of gloves on today so at least my fingers weren't quite so frozen. I wear a pair of "touch gloves" from M&S with a pair of woollen fingerless gloves over the top.
What a beautiful view they must have , from the house the Autumn colours are so good this year. Glad to hear you managed to keep your hands warm. I took my photo today from inside the car( from the passenger side)
