16th centrury grade II listed buildings

These are wonderful buildings in the historic village of Elstow. This photo doesn't really do it justice as there were cars (including mine) parked in front of the cottages. Originally, these cottages were numbered as an address in the High Street but more recently named Bunyans Mead after the famous John Bunyan who wrote The Pilgrim's Progress. The cottages have amazing walls which are very misshapen which does not really show in the pic. Some of them have now been converted into flats. I just love the black and white facades which look lovely even on a really grey day like today.

When viewed large, you can see the wobbly buildings better.
Great shot as you say if you could only get rid of the cars.

Oh, I love the old buildings. Having the cars in front of them just shows how they have stood for so many years!
