These ducks were on the pond at the back of our office as I came out at 2pm. I just loved the way Mr Mallard was having a stretch. I could have posted any number of shots today as I started off at home in the kitchen as I thought I might not get a chance for any decent pics because of the weather but I was quite lucky.
I walked round to the garden centre instead of going for a walk because it looked like rain again. I went to see whether I could get a Christmas pudding as I couldn't get one in Sainsbury's yesterday as they'd sold out and I kept forgetting to buy one. The pud I bought was reduced from £9.99 to £6 so I have done well. However, it is only a small pudding but enough for me and Steve. Of course, I then saw stollen and a very small Christmas cake which all went into the bag. After paying for them, I thought I would just have a quick look round (which I shouldn't have done) as I landed up buying a new square cake tin and a large loaf tin as I think I gave both to my daughter because I thought I wouldn't do any more baking. I've got the bug though since having time off work and I didn't have a tin to make Yorkshire Parking and needed a loaf tin to bake a cherry cake in so although I've bought all these cakes, I will do some more baking after they've all gone. I think it's hearing all you people on here baking that's got me started again! I blame you!
