No longer a path

The farmer has blocked off this path and put a sign on it saying that there is no access along here. People used to walk their dogs as it was a lovely walk across the fields to the next village. I just liked the lighting in this shot.

Unfortunately, today I have come across 4 young men in Wood Lane who I suspect are involved with the drug pushing/taking. I have taken pics of vehicles with registrations and also one on a bike and have forwarded them to the Safer Neighbourhood Team. I have googled as I don't know a lot about drug taking and the syringe and vitamin C packet are undoubtedly used to mix either crack cocaine or heroin. We really must stamp out the drug taking in our village as we have had 3 burglaries and 2 attempted burglaries which I suspect may have been carried out by people to fund their drug habit.

When you look at this tranquil scene, it is hard to believe that such behaviour could take place in what is a really nice village. We may not have CCTV cameras in the village yet but criminals better beware, I am about with my camera!
Lovely rural scene @rosiekind; beautifully composed and framed by the tree.

Gorgeous shot. Too bad about not being able to walk there anymore. And good for you providing evidence to the police about the drug dealing. A lot of people are afraid to report them.

This is a beautiful route - love the diagonals. Was it a private path? I didn't think farmers were allowed to shut off public bridleways

This is a beautiful scene, so peaceful, shame about the criminality - not just in our big cities then ...

@taz_o It is obviously not a bridle way although I thought it was. There is one a bit further up the lane though
