I saw this pheasant in a field with 2 red legged partridges when I was driving to Jordan's Mill to promote the Good Neighbour Groups. The partridges ran off but Mr Pheasant stood there long enough to get a pic. What beautiful colours they have although they are rather strange looking really.
I was really hoping to see a red kite or buzzard as I've seen them in the area but no luck today which was why I had my camera on the seat next to me.
