After I left the 365ers, Catherine and myself took the tube to Tower Hill and went to see the poppies at the Tower. This is just one view and it looks from this shot as though there weren't many people there but I had to wait to get a turn at the fence to capture this. There were lots of people there even though they are removing the poppies and I didn't have time to wait my turn to visit the lower deck where these people are standing. They seem to be in a part away from the main throng and I can't remember why. Maybe they had paid to go inside the Tower and were on their way out but I'm not sure. I walked along the end towards Tower Bridge and all the way round so that I could see the ones that were not being removed. It was a wonderful sight and after seeing the film "War Horse" on TV last night, I'm glad I had been to the Tower before I watched the film because I cried my eyes out for most of the film which was so sad but very moving. I recommend seeing this film if you haven't done so already - it is brilliant!
