This was taken today through the kitchen window as I only ventured out for a minute to top up the bird feeder and water the tomatoes in the greenhouse because I didn't water them last night. I did pick a couple of courgettes too as you have to keep on top of them as I like to eat them when they are small and tasty. The collared doves are very timid and soon fly off if they spot you but this one stayed long enough to get a shot.
Lovely capture I have one visiting at the moment too ( usually they come in pairs ! ) But as you say they are very timid and I have not even been able to capture one from my kitchen window yet !!
