High and dry

I pass this boat in one of the overgrown gardens in Wood Lane every time I walk along there and it always looks so forlorn. It's a shame that it has been left high and dry as it should be sailing along a creek somewhere!

Soon to be hidden by all the greenery. I wonder if it's lived in.

Seems such a shame but makes for a great photograph

Lovely find and shot. I agree with you. Why would anyone go to the expense of buying such a nice boat and then leave it to rot away? The creeks around Portsmouth and Gosport are full of forlorn, sunken vessels

It is sad unless it is a home?

It always amazes whenever you boats moored there are always which like they have been abandoned by their owners

Its got curtains in it! Why don't you put a notice on it asking for its story?

Maybe it is somebody's 'project'. We have lots of boats here because I live by the ocean and a few of them are projects. One of our neighbours has three boat projects on his property.
