The flight of the heron

I stopped off at Priory Country Park on the way home just for a quick walk and saw my friend the heron. He was fishing in the brook and I was rather sorry that I tried to get closer to him because there were so many dried grasses in front and when I started moving towards him, he flew off. I felt cross with myself as he did such a lot of shouting as he flew round - he was obviously upset. Sorry heron

It is a dilema when you are after that extra close shot. However this is such a magnificent view of the heron and I'm sure he would have return to his fishing spot soon after.
