Lovely capture Rosie. His feet look as if there is a problem. The chaffinch we had last year had a similar issue but much worse. I am sure they are not supposed to be all knobbly.
@pamknowler i hadn't noticed this and thanks for pointing it out. It probably explains why a collared dove died last night. I will have to stop feeding the birds and disinfect the feeders.
