Red bottomed sheep by rosiekind

Red bottomed sheep

I pointed my camera over the fields towards Dovecote Lake and saw red bottomed sheep in the field. When the ram has done his job, the sheep are left with coloured fur to show that they are in lamb.
Is the red from the ram or does the farmer mark them. Nice capture.

@rickster549 A colour is applied to the rams chest which is then transferred to the ewes bottom to notify the farmer that the ewe has been tipped (mated). It's called raddle.
