A sweet little house sparrow

I love house sparrows but sadly they don't very often come up my end of the road. I got all excited the other day when I saw one land on one of my feeders. Most people wouldn't bother about a little brown bird but I love them.

their numbers have reduced so much over the last few years that they are really rare in some place, not here, where we have a lot of older traditional housing and gardens, but go into London and you don't see the groups you used to see
