No day would be complete for me without a bird! Jonathan at Camera Club helped me edit out a twig which stood right up in front of his breast which has made this a much better photo. I think sparrows have such nice little faces and I love their stout little beaks. I was pleased when I walked into the garden yesterday to see a couple of sparrows in the winter jasmine and I hope they are going to build a nest. There was however a spare male who seemed to be trying to get friendly with the female but her mate wasn't having any of that and soon shooed him away!
