I just had to take a pic of this tree trunk as I thought the patterns and colour on it were amazing. Perhaps it's not an exciting picture but it's just something different from me. I was very tempted to post another robin but I've probably bored you all to death with them although I can't resist them but I did resist for once. You might get one tomorrow so be warned! LOL
I got talking to a chap in the park who is an aircraft mechanic and works on private jets in Luton. He is also a biker and he showed me some pics on his phone of a cockpit and interior of one of the planes he had worked on. Very luxurious. He also showed me a pic of the undercarriage and wheel on a plane. The tyre was completely missing and the 32 year old Russian pilot had taken off despite being warned that there was a problem as he was trying to impress the Russian equivalent of Lady Gaga. Consequently, the plane was severely damage when he tried to land as the tyre completely came away and hit the fuel tank and damaged the wing and rear of the plane. His father didn't seem worried about spending 50,000$ on repairs. He is employed by an American company in Luton.
