Strutting His/Their Stuff

Well, it is spring, as you see, these Tom's are strutting their stuff to attract the hens. There were about 25 hens in all. Sure glad I had my camera with me. The one shows up pretty good the other you have to look a little closer

@ubobohobo - I will ask the same question... Are these Wild birds or farm birds? We do not have Wild Turkeys in Australia, we have the Australian Bustard but not the Turkey.

Excellent! Turkeys are a shy bunch so you are lucky to get so many in one shot. Were you sitting in a blind? They are such interesting birds...not the most attractive in the world, but definitely interesting. I hope to capture a few here within the next few weeks.

@dejongdd actually I was standing on the side of a highway. They were quite far away so I had to bring them in with the telephoto
