Ready for the pot

These yellow beans are so fresh I should slap them. I picked them a few minutes ago. Now to cut them up and cook them with cut-up potatoes, drain, add evaporated milk and regular milk, cook a little longer, add a few dollops of butter, salt and pepper, and enjoy.
This is one of my rewards of working in my garden. I wish I had some of my mothers home-made bread to go with it
