Unfortunatly this shot won't qualify for this weeks theme because I took it last year. I just wanted more people to see it. This is a swarm of tiny flies. This happens every year a little later in the season. There are many swarms like this all over the area. They last for about a week. They also can be heard even when they are more than a hundred yards away. They are a little bigger than a gnat
@shirljess@michelle58@buttercup thanks for comments, they actually stay high up above the trees. If they were close to the ground, I don't think I would go outside as long as they were around
