Azalea japonica herbert by rumpelstiltskin

Azalea japonica herbert

I have to admit with shame that I've never been keen on gardening - my involvement is usually limited to occasional bouts of weeding. That is beginning to change, thanks to the 365 Project. I am beginning to learn the names of the plants in my garden as I photograph them, so I can say with some confidence that this is a photo of an azalea against a background of iberis candytuft "Appen-Etz".
Great focussing

The one plant I can't grow in my garden. They always die.

Your description of yourself as a gardener makes me smile. :-)
This is a lovely shot.
