Just love the contrast (past & present). I can just imagine the old 'pub smell' that I remember as a younger man - spilt beer, cigarette smoke, stale ashtrays, wood smoke, wet dogs by open fires - oh how different they are now. Very clean and sterile, but somehow lacking that 'pubby asmosphere'
