Lunar by rumpelstiltskin

Lunar

This shot of Croydon was taken from the top of a multi-storey car park. The white building at the front is Lunar House, the Home Office building that houses UK Visas and Immigration. It was completed in 1970, and its name was inspired by the moon landings.

Behind it is the recently built Saffron Central Square, a colourful 43 storey block of apartments, and in the front is a moving tram.
I like the blurred tram at the front of this photo. Did you use a tripod or rest your camera on something? I ask because it was exposed at 1/20 th second, yet the buildings are still sharp.

I have not been to Croydon for many, many years, in fact it was to attend a training course when I worked for BT.

@jon_lip Hi Jon, this was a hand held shot. I'm getting quite good at staying still for slower shutter speeds, even when holding a heavy DSLR and lens!
