Croydon Minster

After some recent failed attempts, I managed to visit to Croydon Minster at a time when it was open, and my perseverance paid off! It is a very beautiful church, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1867 under the direction of George Gilbert Scott. It is also of historical significance, as six Archbishops of Canterbury are buried here. This shot was taken in the West Tower, and you can see the gothic pointed arch and the timber roof over the nave.
