Ryland House is a 15 storey office block that was built for the Post Office in 1974. It is one of the many tall modern buildings that populate Croydon's skyline (and gives the town its poor reputation!) Croydon's Rise Gallery will be hosting an exhibition about brutalist architecture at the end of this month. It will be interesting to learn more and see how others have photographed the area.
I checked the exhibition calendar of the Rise Gallery, and saw that they have used Moshe Safdie's housing complex on their poster. I visited the site when it was under construction in 1967, and admire it greatly.
