Alico House by rumpelstiltskin

Alico House

Alico House was built in the early 1960s and was one of the first modern office blocks in Croydon. It seems quite low rise and appealing when compared to the buildings that followed! It was built for an insurance company, but is now a hotel.

The composition was inspired by Geometry Club, an Instagram project consisting of buildings photographed as triangle shapes. I haven't quite followed the compositional rules, but here are some photos from the project: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2017/jan/28/architecture-photography-corner-in-pictures
Fab how it looks like waves going in and out.Seems to add a softness to it.

I like the shapes of the building, emphasised by your corner POV.
