The Buddhapadipa Temple is a Thai Buddhist temple in Wimbledon. Building started in 1979 and three years later it became the first Buddhist temple to open in the UK.
The walls of the main temple are covered in murals depicting the life of Buddha, but also includes the Mona Lisa, Colonel Gaddafi, the Houses of Parliament and Margaret Thatcher!
