Here is something that I would never expect to see outside the Royal Academy of Arts: a replica of the red barn from Psycho. PsychoBarn is a 30ft installation by Cornelia Parker, and was commissioned for display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. I found it fascinating and disconcerting, much like my reaction when I watched Hitchcock's film for the first time when I was about fourteen.
I photographed this about a month ago but didn't publish on here. Glad to see this one! It's fabulous, isn't it? Though I could hear the music screeching in my head as I approached it.......such a striking piece.
