Sadly, I didn't take this shot of The Queen, but I have permission to post it from a loved one who stood in the rain with lots of local residents to welcome her as she opened a new housing development for veterans of the armed forces. It was a rainy day, but lots of people came to cheer her on and marvel at how the streets of Morden were suddenly cleaner than ever before.
