Last weekend we attended a beautiful summer New Zealand wedding at the beach, this wedding was a beautiful joining of the cultures with the grooms family speaking and preforming in Maori throughout the evening. The bride is my beautiful neice and she is being given away by my Sister and Brother in law. The walking stick my brother in law is using ( called a Tokotoko ) was lovingly carved and blessed by the grooms uncle.
