And they are refrigerated. Is it common in your area to say refrigerated instead of air conditioned? Nice series of b&w.

This is uncommon. Before air conditioning, Phoenix had swamp coolers which are humidifiers with a big fan. Not very effective out here. Makes me think the hotel is advertising they have air conditioning from when it was newly opened.
