At great personal risk, I managed to take this photo just before a beam of light vaporized the happy-snappy person standing next to me (some over-enthusiastic NASA scientist with a telephoto lens on a tripod) Then, as the beam from the tower landed on me, I held up my camera into it and pretended to delete my shot. The aliens in the tower totally bought it. It's all true I tell you, and I have the scientist's tripod in my possession to prove it. Although it may be a little damaged, it's nothing that a good dusting off can't fix.
Too bad the vaporized guy standing beside you didn't have the smarts to pull that move off...but I guess it bought you time. Nice silhouette of the alien tower, and glad you survived.
