Yesterday, I went for a walk along a part of the canal that I've not seen before.

Canal walks are always very pretty I think & usually a bit cosier than rivers because you get more trees ! This is a beautiful walk with the bridge & overhanging trees !

Very nice old bridge, Looks similar to the style of the old canal near where I live, probably dates back to the mid 1800's?

This looks like something from Wind in the Willows. Beautiful and atmospheric. I bet those leaves gave a good crunch!

When I lived in England yonks ago I used to enjoy walking alongside the canals. This brings back fond memories of the one I knew well, the Kennet and Avon.
