I feel uninspired. Not even a Crunchie bar can fix it currently.
Maybe I need a chocolate bar with less honeycomb lightness and more creative raisoning.
@tford There's nothing quite like them. They're all alone in the chocolate world and misunderstood. The tragedy of it all. I may have to have console another. ;)
AH the humanity!! You are just asking for a butt whopping posting my favorite snack all eaten like that!! (Starts thinking up ways to torture M back) I have a creative suggestion..I want a birthday photo created by one amazing Matt Clendon. It must be something slightly maudlin with a touch of birthday frosting sweetness. Go on! Get to it! heh heh heh.
The very best ...all that crunchy sugar comb & delicious chocolate !! Good job I saw this after I came in from town, would have just had to buy one !!!
Yum!! these are good, i haven't had one in awhile! My only complaint about this shot is that we have this kind of chocolate here. what i really like to see is pictures of cool looking foods/chocolates/candy that are not sold here cause I always think the stuff you guys have over there is better and more interesting looking. however now i think i need to buy one of these soon. :)
I'm in Canada, not the states! so you're right i have heard you can't get them in the states though, but in Canada yes. and they are delicious. but now i discovered that somehow Cadbury chocolate from the UK taste a little different than cadbury chocolate from Canada. just this past week I ate a "Wispa" bar which was very yummy but somehow different. I also had a "galexy" bar ANNNNNND today mushy peas, lol i found these things in the UK section in a candy shop (i was pretty excited about the mushy peas hahaha)
@laurentye Ahh, well that explains it (i didn't see this reply before) Wispa has a strange texture to it, it's sort of bubbly-ish. Hard to explain really. It's quite nice, but not a favourite like Crunchie is. Galaxy is okay. It's very smooth and some people love it, but I'm on the fence with that one too. As for mushy peas, that's kid's comfort food and it always looks digusting yet tastes much better than it looks. I haven't had them for years, not since I was at school.
the Wispa reminded me of our "aero" bars here (not sure if you have those) but i really liked the galaxy which cost a fortune at this store i was at so i'm glad i liked it :D as for the mushy peas i will admit i was a little worried since it didn't look very pleasant when i opened the can but tasted great. next time im at that store i will have to see what sorts of other uk goodies i find
@laurentye Yes, I'd say that Wispa is pretty much Cadbury's version of Aero which I prefer to Wispa if I'm honest. Still, finding and trying out these products is half the fun, the other half is, well, it's hard to go wrong with certain brands of milk chocolate. I'll have to take some shots of bars that I think people never see outside the UK.
