I was trying to take a shot of an interesting tree in the background, as it reminded me of The Whomping Willow in Harry Potter. A very old, wide and sprawling tree that I've yet to show at all in my photos and I meant to rectify this. When the flash went off, this mist appeared from nowhere. It wasn't at all visible before under normal evening light. I'm not sure what you may see. To me It seems a bit malevolent somehow, with a skeleton riding on top of some strange beast. You can outline the skeleton's head and backbone if you look carefully. I haven't tampered with this at all, or altered the mist. It is as is.
@dulciknit I don't normally find graveyards spooky either. This is only mist on a cold night, and even if it wasn't, I feel it wasn't interested in me in the slightest. It was doing it's 'own thing.' I wasn't even worth glancing around at as the camera flashed!
Another curio for the creature files. This is Castle Church graveyard, Stafford.
@digitalrn I don't know much about Castle Church, Rick. It must have a history. I does have some very impressive yew trees so it must date back quite a long way. I'll have to see what I can find out locally.
(Well, that's me scuppered - I was going to post a picture of a graveyard and remark that I didn't understand why people find them so spooky!! LOL!)
