We walk seven or eight kilometers about three or four times a week. This is one of the roads we walk along. Most mornings we see nobody, at most we might see another lady walking her dogs or sometimes one of the farmers that live along the road!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@urvid@sjodell They certainly do have a ball out there! We are very lucky to have this on the doorstep. No getting into a car first, we go straight from home. This road is less than 100 meters from my front door!
Great shot - I am sure your dogs love it. The view is fantastic. I am a city person - I have neighbours, neighbours, neighbours. That kind of solitude would be amazing.
@equinoxe we are indeed lucky to have this on our doorstep, the mountains in the background are what I see from my kitchen window! @bdb3471 If one could pan to the right of this picture, one would be able to see the village of Tulbagh. @kloud LOL, these mutts now demand to go out, no more lie ins, if I'm luckythey leave me alone until about 5:30. And it's true what they say - the more you give the more they want! @horse Thanks Andrea @sebella I count my blessings everyday!
They do seem to be enjoying that road! We have plenty of space as well, but also plenty of snakes. Should really walk them down the road into the property - maybe when their paws have healed properly!
