Abandoned...

The weather has turned and the gale force winds arrived, rain soon and more snow forcast. Found this abandoned shell underneath a shrub whose flowers I was trying to photograph.

I like this one the best. There is just something about this shot that is pleasing to my eye. The washed out white color and texture of the shell with its spiral design. The dark brown dead curled up leaves surrounding it all seem to draw me in. Fav'd
