Double Exposure by salza

Double Exposure

Trying out double exposure. Still have a lot to learn and a long way to go. Will keep on trying!
Also played around with panning today but the results did not meet expectations! Will be back tomorrow to try again.
Sweet dog shot. Is panning your push?
I'm thinking the key to these double exposures is going to be which two pics to combine?

@tigerdreamer Panning is my push, reads much easier than it is! Will have to go into the village tomorrow and see what the main road provides :-) The pictures in the multiple exposures definitely makes a difference. It took me a good few combos to figure things out and the exposure (or shutter speed) also makes a huge difference.
@steeler Thanks Howard, it does help having a setting on the camera that allows for up to three exposeures!

Beautiful photo. You've certainly done a great job of the double exposure - and such a cute puppy dog as well. : )

@bobbyj This is so much easier than I thought it would be! This is what got me going: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/13983/csc-11-double-multiple-exposure-camera-settings-challenge
Also discovered that I have a setting in camera that allows for up to 3 exposures!

Beautiful portrait of a dog! I like its eyes - they are so expressive. As for photo effect - it is interesting. The framing adds to the mistery here and little noise makes the photo older. Well done!

Cool shot. Finding things which naturally flow together is the hard bit

She's so gorgeous. Great double exposure attempt - I'm far too scared!

I think in order for two shots to really work well together they must have complimentary subjects. So you've done that well here with the dog and the little figurine of dogs. Nice job!

How does one do this with a digital camera? I remember long ago doing them on film.

@sandier I have a multiple exposure setting in my camera menu, found in the 'camera' file (has a camera as an icon). It's also possible to do it in post processing using layers. I have posted a link in my reply to Bobbyj.
