Went out for a 3 hour ride that included the sunset and the moon rising! After nearly two hours of riding we stopped at this picnic spot, the horses are so well trained that they just chill out whilst we have some snacks.

Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Sounds like they'd be the perfect horses for me to ride- since I wouldn't have a clue as to what to do! They'd know and do it automatically. It also sounds like a wonderful outing- watching the sunset and moonrise on horseback! Nice shot.
Sally, sorry about getting to you so late; I know we are paired in the get-pushed and I had gone through your photos to come up with a challenge, but the Sunday before Christmas we (Gail & I) were called away and I didn't have Internet access until now. So this is late - I had originally thought of having you take a photo of some historical architectural object in your area and explaining about it. I do enjoy your photos of the dogs - we had had a Keeshond for many years and your image reminds me of him (He has always been my favorite and I miss him). If this is to late I do understand but I will still try to do your challenge.
@hjbenson Harry, this time of year is always unpredictable so please don't stress! I'm sure I can manage to get a picture of one of our historical buildings.
@tigerdreamer No, sun has already set, unfortunately missed the actual going down as we were still on the trail. The moon rose over the mountains (which are behind me) about 45 minutes later.
