One Night Stand - Candid
I have a major aversion to taking people pictures but I braved the streets and got this gentleman. I cannot believe I have to do the street thing again on Saturday!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.

@wadazomo I still hate being on the street with my camera but I have found that if you just do it few people even take notice. If you try and hide the fact that you are taking a photo more people seem to notice. Another way of handling it is to pretend you are taking a shot of a building, plant, car or something. I also find using my 55-200mm lens is a bonus, you can shot something on the other side of the street!
@salza I was going out today and do just that, set up my 70-200 and act like I am shooting buildings here on Main street during lunch hour when there is a lot of foot traffic. Thanks for the tips
Sally - this is a wonderful street portrait. You're getting braver and braver. Your composition and timing - wonderful. I say, get back on the street girl ... and snap some more! :)
I love seeing this - he looks like an interesting person. Unfortunately Germany has strict laws concerning street shots like this - the person in the picture has to allow that you publish the image. If this is not the case in your country enjoy your freedom to take this kind of shot :-).
