Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
interesting colour, it's like a fabulous sunrise or a beautiful sunset. i brought my crystal ball during the trip, but i forgot to bring it with me on our walk about; i was planning on taking a shot at the tulip gardens. :-(
@kwiksilver Gillian, a friend of mine found this for me. Not a true crystal ball (apart from the colour) as it has a piece on one side that you can thread something though to hang it - a bit like Christmas bauble. I will be seeing her tomorrow and I will ask if she has any more and will let you have the details.
@salza Unfortunately my friend only found this one! She picked it up in a second hand shop. I think there's a glass blower on a wine farm near Fairview, so I want to contact him and ask about glass balls. Plus it's a fine excuse to go that way for lunch!
Cool shot! As for finding glass balls- it's not so hard! If you can't get one made by the glass-blower, I found mine on Amazon at a very reasonable price with stand included and free shipping. It was more affordable than I thought it would be.
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann, but our major problem is the postage! Amazon not keen to send anything to South Africa unless you use a courier to your door which is astronomical! Sometimes we can get free postage from eBay but it depends on where the product originates. Postage can be more than double what the product is!
