Today I groomed the smallest and the largest dog I have on my books! This is Aaron, he is an Irish Wolfhound (the largest!). He is standing next to my grooming table. My smallest is Peanut, a Yorkshire Terrier. You can view him here: http://365project.org/salza/365/2012-12-21
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@wadazomo I guess he is a bit like a moose. It is a tad disconcerting that he can stick his nose in my face without a problem whilst I'm standing next to him! He is rather large, his spine is at my waist but thankfully he is one of the soppiest dogs around!
Big nosed Aaron :o) Unfortunately I only have german expressions right now to describe him. So I only can say: He really looks great!
And thank you very much for the advice :o)
I see these dogs often when I walk mine through the green belt in Constantia - huge but gentle. Roop is terrified of them and gives them a wide berth with his tail between his legs, ears down and hackles up. He's such a nerd.
At the St Patricks Day parade in Sydney this year I saw some beautiful Irish Wolfhounds - I was in awe of their size and how well behaved and placid they were
@kwiksilver No, I haven't sold any of the dog pics. Haven't got a good set up for doing dog portraits. When I use a picture of a client's dogs, I give them a link so that they can view the shot. I do however sell my pics at one of the local shops.
great doggie photo...he looks exactly like my dog i had...he was a husky/rotti/who knows what else mix..but everyone always thought he was a wolfhound....now i see why...he looked just like this and was the best dog ever...a rescue hero dog...save my son and boyfriend from drowning in the river...now i wanna cry...I miss my dog so much....thanks for sharing this pic....
