Black and White by salza

Black and White

Went to one of the local farms to do some work. They have a young Zebra grazing with two horses. I was undecided which picture to post so have put two up! Would love to read your thoughts!

love the spikes on this one

Oh, this is so beautiful.

I prefer this one. Love the composition with the snow-capped peak in the background. Also the horse's shadow on the zebra and both their eyes watching you.

I love this one, too. I think I prefer the composition in this one, but the other is just fun for the subject.

I like this one the best. because of the background

I like this one best. I like the repeating shape of the heads and mountain.
The other one feels unbalanced to me. all the stripe action on one side.

Well, they're both good. This one is beautiful with the matching profiles and the lighter colors of the sky and animals. But the other is just funny. But if I had to choose one over the other, I think I'd go with this one.

What a lovely, intimate shot! Love that the zebra looks like he has a punk-kid haircut!

Both are great but I think this one has the edge for me as I really like the composition and background.

This is both an elegant composition and pretty - to hang on a wall - this would probably sell but the other one has personality - by the bucketload!

I like this one - it seems more graphic - more unreal really. A Fav! I love zeeebs.

Both shots are lovely and I could not choose! The other is a bit fun with a smile and on here the animals look pensive. Great detail in both!

yes, both shots are great, but i prefer this one, for the perceived emotion the animals' eyes seem to extend to the viewer. and the composition of course is wonderful with them on the one side and the hills beyond on the other.

Some of our donkeys here have striped legs, makes one realize how small the genetic gap really is!
